life has been calm and progressive ever since i graduated. i earned a diploma and a license now what's left to be striked off the list is the ideal job and yes, a car, credit card, 'audreystillhasalongwaytogo' stuffs. if only i could be less fickle yet determine, i wouldn't have rejected the four job offers last week. guest relation executive, guest service officer etc. then, i would have already started work. pay is above average. jobscope? i hate it when different people tries so hard to plagiarise the way i type in my blog, the clothes i match (but they have it in really stupid tones and colours that do not contrast a slight bit), the way i talk (with many uncountable 'lohs', i have no idea why) and they even try to be the kind of friends i mixed with. tell me, what is so bad about being yourselves?
my friends once told me 'mai hiam lah, you are one step to a perfect life man'. because... i have the tendency to look on the more favorable side of events or conditions and expect the most favorable outcome. being an optimistic person makes life a million times easier. plagiarism is just a mask to hide what is beneath you that may be the most beautiful thing around. trust me, it beats being someone else.

i have a short story to tell...
four days back, winssy and i were viewing xiaxue's blog when i came across a very chio picture of her hammy as well as its cage. it was so adorable i couldn't resist... the pink bedding, glass tank etc. it was the coolest hammy layout i have ever seen loh. being a typical young bitch, i whine to winssy about wanting one but he knows that it takes me only one day to forget about it. true enough, i got over it within one click towards google. that makes it two seconds to forget about her uber cute hammy and stuff.
three days back, winssy woke up with a bitch fit and thus, i chased him out of the house leaving him a text that says 'fuck off lah. don't come back'. usually, he would but that very day, he didn't. an hour later, a text came in. and there winssy was, standing at the main door with my very own xiaxue-ish hammy cage but with cuter hammies in it. awww...!
initially, we got a free hamster from this girl who was giving away her hamsters online but a pet shop owner claims that it was having diarrhoea. but, never mind.
i'm not good in story telling but you get my point, i have the sweetest boyfriend on earth :)

today, i browsed the internet in search of thrift shops in singapore, besides cash converter lah. i got inspired by sallyjanevintage.blogspot. hehe. i forgot which entry of hers but one of it talks about her rummaging a thrift shop in the US and she got the whole lot, top to toe, for less than USD$16! dirt cheap loh. blame singapore for having minimal thrift shops. flea market also pricey. wtf. there is another entry where she boast about her thrift shopping experience and how she managed to transform a dull dress into beauty. sweeeeee.

back to my topic. the internet is obviously a useful tool, especially search engines like google and yahoo. best. i found a thrift store in singapore that i've never heard of before, overly excited, i dragged winssy down the moment we left house today. and guess whattt...

last friday, winssy and i went to kallang leisure park to skate. we made a fool out of ourselves, thank god there were no familiar faces around. i wanted to die when i got home. the ache on the joints of my legs were unbearable. no more ice-skating for me. full stop.

SATURDAY

last saturday, winssy and i attended the raoul fashion show (fashion festival 2009) located at ngee ann city. mummy was one of the invited VIPs and she got us to tag along but guess what, she backed out at the very last minute! claiming that she was too reluctant to leave the house. so it means that she was just using me to represent her at the show loh. fuck. i wasn't the least bit interested... i shall tell you why.
ok, the good thing is, i get to boast. there were many celebrities who were there to attend the event as well. VIPs like us. hehe. we saw andrea de cruz and her mum, patricia mok, david gan, ann kwok etc. 60% of them were stars. 39.9% were super high-end buyers. 0.1% represents winssy and me. you should have seen the botox faces everywhere. gosh. the sight was disastrous.
the bad thing of such events is, at that point of time, 'we are in the fake industry.' i overheard this from one of the guys and i thought that it made a hell lot of sense to me. models, celebrities, high-end tai tais. none of them are real and all they ever talked about is money, hungry for fame. that is why i shouldn't be there. i want to be ordinary audrey loh.
since i had to represent my mum's attendance, winssy and i went in. everybody were socialising, mingling around before the start of the show. you know, they provide free flow of liquors and refreshments to pass time. all i wanted to do was run home and catch a flick with winssy on the laptop, on our cosy bed. you don't expect me to go up to patricia mok and go 'eh you can host very well hoh? no wonder why your mouth so big'. that was how bad it was. i called mummy and screwed her through the phone and she said 'just pretend, everyone does that. don't act sua ku can already'. wtf. this makes more sense about the fake industry i was talking about...
before the show even started, winssy and i left, PRETENDING that we needed the washroom. pfft.
so much for high-ends, branding and fame. that is why i always feel that singapore teen model-wannabes should be flushed down the drain because they think that by taking lingerie shots, they are famous. by posing infront of unknown photographers, they are recognised. disgusting loh! i should start deleting my photoshoot pictures.

i was browsing through the net when i saw nicole richie's highwaist shorts. swee. i am not outdated puh-lease, i like hers because it is the 'vintage to the extreme' kind, light faded, without the fugly loads of buttons. nice. i have no idea why topshop still has stocks for the dark denim highwaist shorts. so last summer loh.
and recently, i have come to realise that people are wearing this black maryjanes with the fugly mini stretch of zipper at the front. turn off. and you pair it with zipper bandage skirt and loose zipper tops. why don't they just buy zips and sew it together... i am in no right to criticise but, ugly loh!

i had my second paper yesterday and i know i'm gonna score for it as well. stop asking how i manage to do it despite the late nights before exams, drinking, endless shopping sessions and stuff. i probably got the brains from my mum. haha. she very smart one loh.

after the paper, winssy came down to look for me and we headed to far east for like what, the third time this week? ever since mum transferred me some extra cash, i have been spending like there's no tomorrow. my future plans got abit cock up right here but never mind, there is still the backup piggy bank at home... hopefully it's of good use. so anyway, i got myself this really pretty pair of sandals from far east. forget about the caged wedge. pfft.

winssy and i decided to chill out when night came. he felt that esplanade was a nice place and i thought of the magarita at Harry's, esplanade. and guess what, ben xiao jie had to gulp down the entire jug of magarita because boyfriend was afraid of getting caught for drink riding. fucker. ok, he had a tiny little glass to himself. but my tummy was swimming with liquid after that. no more magarita for me, no more.
i hate the weather and winssy mixed up the hair conditioner for the facial foam. nice. i must meetup with MJ and co. after the exams because i am now known as the bo xim kiaaxz.

i kicked the idea of shaving. i re-extended my hair yesterday, so much for wanting a new hairstyle. cost? a bomb.
yesterday's driving was crazy. i went over the stop line, i stopped in the middle of a junction, i crashed the red light, i was practically yawning throughout the journey and i know that i was gonna doze off anytime. conclusion, never drive when you are half/not awake. or rather, never take in words of compliment. hehe.
the first paper done two days back was awesome. i confirm get A one. i'm not over confident, i just know that i'm gonna get an A.
i removed my tagboard because all i get are tags from winssy when i see him everyday at home. pointless.

winssy and i are so addicted to the 'kiap kiap' machine these days. the one seen in arcades, where a clipper is attached to this thingy and you've got to spend a bomb to actually grab a doll. i used to think that those machines are bullshits but winssy caught the carebear for me with only one try! tyco one, i know. but we caught it with only a dollar.
being the stingy me who feels that money should be spent on makeups and clothes, it's well worth it. hehe.
well, the other time we caught this kalm's bear with $19. my heart tore. i will never spend more than $10 on useless items loh. but winssy couldn't take my 'fuck lah, you very lousy leh. so small also cannot catch', 'see lah, everyone got something in their hands except me'.
thus, the extra nine bucks. argh.

winssy and i decided to leave our nest and show up at le bar. yes, like finally. we've been locking ourselves up and MIA-ing ever since six months back. no wonder why he was so excited yesterday, no wonder why yuling thought there was a huge occasion. so anyway, we met up with the usually cliques and another of winssy's friend who was at le bar too.
winssy got drunk (nb@#%$#!!) and i even had to drink for him. because raphale actually opened five bottles of martell and i guess he only has two jugs of green tea. ok, come to think of it, i should stop screaming at winssy for getting drunk. fuck. i don't like. now my room reeks of alcohol and mum thinks that i should just set up a brewer here.

driving instructor
i am so pissed off with my current instructor. he never calls to tell me in advance that he will be late and he doesn't state the right amount needed to be paid in the log book. once, he dropped me off at eunos MRT and told me to take a cab/MRT back home myself. since he initiated paying, i took a cab and he never brought out the topic again. there goes my $8.50. i can't believe such irresponsibilities actually exist in a person. but thank god i decided to swap instructors.

i have been pondering about the trip to taiwan with leenkie and co. as usual, mummy is willing to pay for my expenses and air ticket, $1K+. however, i doubt i'm gonna feel good about this. in a weeks time, she has to pay my remaining school fees, $2K+ and she has to pay all of my driving pracs cum TP, $1K+. i feel worst than a beast. really.

yesterday, i dragged myself out of bed in order to avoid the queue at uni qlo. most of the clothes are really sucky though, i was telling leenkie how much it inherited from hang ten and giordano. it wasn't the least bit muji-ish loh, which i thought it would actually be. but like any other typical singaporean, i had to get myself something. so i got myself two tops, for only $40. cheap buy. on a lighter note, it wasn't as bad as the current club marc. club marc's tees are now going for $5. wtf. cheapo.
anyway, i am depleting my savings as well so i better stop. if my investments were to crash, i am gonna be a bankrupt at the age of 18. i cannot deplete my savings, yet. grow money, grow.
talking about leenkie, i am still thinking about the trip to taiwan with herself, weiting and kevin this coming june. we are gonna save so much on the hotel charges since leenkie claims that we are gonna stay at her first house, aunt's house, second house. god knows how many houses she has in taiwan but the air tickets are only $500+ per individual tix. furthermore, SQ flight . obviously mum is gonna sponsor me but what about school...
